The Pinball Asylum is a private space that opens for tournaments, special events, and our monthly league — and people love playing pinball up there so much that we often get requests to be open a lot more than we are. That’s hard, because we are 100% volunteer-run, everything up there from the furniture to the water bottles to the rare pins is donated by the Asylum’s generous, enthusiastic community, and we can’t always accommodate requests to visit, especially by tourists and visitors to our beautiful Gulf beaches and stunning natural ecosystem, who tend to have a limited amount of time in the area. To meet the demand for more pinball, the Asylum Board members run a weekly Tuesday night IFPA Pinball League at Nice Guys Pizza, a funky, fun and delicious bar / restaurant / music venue across the Caloosahatchee River in Cape Coral. Board Member Scott Kakavis, assisted by Tony Verzelli, is the tournament director. Come earn IFPA points, have fun, eat some crazy good pizza, salads, and tater tots, and partake (wisely) of some of the best craft cocktails in the area. Our new 2020 Winter Season starts tonight at 6:30 p.m.
