In Memory of Our Friend Scott Kakavis

Scott Kakavis
April 14, 1968~September 12, 2024
Our brother and friend Scott sadly passed away on September 12th.
Scott’s family has asked that in lieu of flowers or a memorial, that it was his wish that any of his friends who’d like to honor his memory make a contribution to The Pinball Asylum, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that Scott was a part of, and which he was very passionate about.
Scott was not only a dear friend, collegue, and part of our close Florida pinball family, he was also a longtime Board Member of The Pinball Asylum. His guidance and help for many years made The Pinball Asylum stronger and better in many ways.
We hope you will remember our beloved Scott by making a one time, or reoccuring monthly donation in his name.

About

Founded in early 2011, The PINBALL ASYLUM began as a place for local Florida friends to hang out, play, restore and repair pinball machines.  Since then we have grown into a fully sanctioned IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) tournament venue.  In 2016 we created the monthly Asylum Inmates Pinball League, and in 2020 we were chosen as hosts for IFPA17, The World Pinball Championships held in 2022.

OUR NEW LOCATION AS OF MARCH 2024 IS:

13721 Jetport Commerce Parkway, Unit 6, Fort Myers, Florida.

The PINBALL ASYLUM‘s stated mission is to raise awareness about pinball in general, and keep the fun, the art and the sport of pinball a vital part of our popular culture.

Giving people access to games they might not otherwise not have a chance to play is another goal of The PINBALL ASYLUM. We also serve as place to park games for those that are out of space, or just want a change of lineup.

The PINBALL ASYLUM is brought to you by your hosts, and Asylum Board of Directors— David, MattMike, Eric, Rebecca, Vince, and Shaun.
